Chippewa Valley Museum


This is was the first excursion for us in this summer program. The Chippewa Valley Museum is about 20 minutes from our campus. Inside the museum, the historical life of Eau Claire is divided into three main parts:-

 The Indians period: - which describe how the Native Americans live and react with their environment.

 The European period: - which describe how they make use of the forests by cutting the trees and use the wood to built new houses and furniture.

 The agricultural period: - which describe how the citizens used the land after clean it from the wood and trees waste in order to grow corns and wheat fields.

 The industrial period: - which describe how the mechanical instruments effects the way people live.

Also, we visited the old school house and there was an old teacher who described how the teaching policy in the past.
