My Story

the first day in the summer, and they are many numbers of people for the bicycle contest, about 30 contestants are there and I am in a bad situation, at least I must prove that I can do it.

the story start 3 weeks ago, when I and my friends made a challenge which is "the one who can be one of the 3 first position will be a leader in our group for the rest of the year" that mean he can order any thing from the others and the others must performed his demands, but if he couldn't make it he the one who will serve the others for the rest of the year.

first, I made many exercises before the deadline, I bought a second hand bicycle from the water street and it cost me 200$,and I used the hill as a platform for my training.

but Finlay, I could not make it, and I started wondering why? I did my best, but when I asked my dad he said"My son, IF you been training for more then a year , you also will not make it because this championship is for the professional and these people more athletic then you , and I am so sorry for you! "

but this is not the worse part, because I serve my friends for one year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The State Capitol

The State Capitol in Madison can be considered to be one of the biggest in the USA. the majority of the structure is built by granite and Marble and it cost the governante about 5 million $.

We visited many different rooms inside the capitol like:-

* The Wisconsin Supreme court

* and The office of the Governor

The dome of the building is considered to be the biggest in the country and it is decorated with many deferent graphics which represent the State and it's vision.

Finally, I recommend the capitol to be visited by my Friends in the future.

Madison Excursion

We start our journey at 1:30 pm, and after two and a half hour we reach our destination.
From the horizon of Madison, we can see the State Capitol which is the tallest building in the city.
We toke some rest at the hotel, and then we start exploring the city’s downtown.

We, me and my friends AZ and Abdulelah, walked through the State Street which is the best street in Madison. It is contains a lot of restaurants which serve many international kinds of meals. Then we decided to eat in a restaurant that serves a wonderful kind of steak that I never eat like it before.

In the next day, we visit the State Capitol and the Wisconsin Museum, and then we toke a free time to explore many locations like the Lakes, The University and the goods at the State Street until our departure at 5:30.

"My respond to Billy Colins's Poem "

This poem dose contains many different meanings .for instant:-

It dose contains simile “and hold it up to the light LIKE a color slide”
so he make the poem the the color slide which produce many colors as well as the poem which produce many different meaning for different readers
It dose contains rhyme “slide & hive” which ends with the same characters
It dose contains vivid imaginary “and fell the walls” & “tie the poem to a chair”

The meaning of this poem is very powerful. It describe exactly how does the poem contains many different thoughts and ideas between the lines, and how the people or the readers will react differently with these meaning and how they can extract what relay represent them.

There are many similarities between me and the poem, because I am kind of unknown I mean I do not usually express my feelings to other people. And I believe that this is the major common aspect between me and the selected poem!!!!!!

Introduction to Poetry By Billy Collins

I ask them to take a poem
and hold it up to the light
like a color slide

or press an ear against its hive.

I say drop a mouse into a poem
and watch him probe his way out,

or walk inside the poem's room
and feel the walls for a light switch.

I want them to waterski
across the surface of a poem
waving at the author's name on the shore.

But all they want to do
is tie the poem to a chair with rope
and torture a confession out of it.

They begin beating it with a hose
to find out what it really means.

The Desert Ship

He is big, he is Flowing
His color is gold,
His color is white,
His color is black,
He is very patient, patient and patient

Oh wow,
He is rumbling now,
Oh dear,
He is moaning now,
Oh Fiddle,
He is groaning now,
Oh no,
He start crying now,
And I wander why,
Oh ha,
That the reason way,
Since he lost his child,

Oh that his son coming back,
He was in the oasis,
Playing with other kids,
Like a real kid,

He is big, he is Flowing
His color is gold,
His color is white,
His color is black,
He is very patient, patient and patient

Well, can you guess the animal's name now?

Free Verse

Ones upon the time,
In a forest at Summerland,
A number of foxes live together,
Near to the river,
The foxes guarding the river,
To prevent the forest’s animals,
Poor animals go a long distance to get water,
Fox JOJO said to himself,
Why do foxes’ this?
This water for All,
This water for All,
JOJO asked the chief foxes KEKO to change this bad habit,
KEKO rejected,
JOJO insisted,
After some time,
KEKO discover the fact of being helpful,
And sharing the natural resource with all the animals,
And he was missing that feature,
Like the desert miss the rain,
Forest’s animals thanked JOJO,
And JOJO thanked KEKO for his understanding,
And everyone lived in peace and harmony…………………..

July 2, 2010 TO July 7,2010

I can describe Eau Claire...

the weather is fantastic. it is raining in the morning , sunny in the afternoon and Wendy in the evening. the people are wonderful. they have that big smile on there faces and they are very help full when you ask. the apartment is nice and my roommates are great.

On the other hand the transportation inside Eau Claire is very limited, ether by bus or by taxi.
and I recommend not to use the bus if you are not a patient person because it take to0 long time in order to reach your destination.

there are many signs indicates that my stay in Eau Claire will be unforgettable chapter of may life.
